There is also a separate event for juniors, allowing ages 8 and upwards to take part and join in the fun. All entrants will receive a goodie bag with race day mementoes!

Excellent changing and refreshment facilities are available on site.

Adult Sprint, Relay & Super Sprint Races

Transition will close 40 minutes before the first heat starts and will remain closed until we can co-ordinate a phased kit release from Transition. This is to ensure everyone is given a fair and equal chance to compete regardless of ability. We pride ourselves on our secure transitions, no one other than competitors allowed in transition and no kit will be allowed to leave without a race number shown.

    Junior Event

The Stirling Junior Triathlon is a fun event set in the grounds of one of Britain’s most picturesque Universities. The event is aimed at all abilities and acts as an introduction to the sport of Triathlon.

Transition will close 55 minutes before the first heat starts and will remain closed until all heats have raced. This is to ensure everyone is given a fair and equal chance to compete regardless of ability. We pride ourselves on our secure transitions, no one other than competitors allowed in transition and no kit will be allowed to leave without a race number shown.

The run course is set within enclosed grass playing fields and traffic free. We have once again secured access to FULLY CLOSED ROADS within the university campus for the duration of the Junior race. This will allow us to run the bike section of the race as laps of a completely traffic free road circuit.

11:45 – 12:35 Transition Open for Junior Race

Triathlon age groups are based on age at end of the year (e.g. if your 11th birthday is coming up this November then you’ll race in the 11-12 age group, even although you’ll only be 10 on the day of the race). This ensures that you race against the same people all year.
