    The Stirling Junior Duathlon is hosted under The Stirling Triathlon Club banner, is sanctioned by Triathlon Scotland and shall be ran in accordance with the BTF Rule Book.



    Junior Race

    The course is appropriate for mountain bikes and cyclocross bikes – it’s all on grass pitch surfaces and completely traffic free!
    Road bikes may only be suitable if ground/pitch conditions are favourable, updates on the conditions will be regularly posted on FB and a final condition report will be sent out in the pre-event race email briefing.

    Although not a requirement to enter the race, it is advised that entrants have a home nations membership and race licence. Home Membership Race Licence holders will have the option to pay £1 less as their race licence covers their insurance on the day.
    Your licence number will be asked for during the entry process and race licences will need to be presented at Registration on the day – If a valid race licence is not presented, but has been chosen during entry, a £2 on the day insurance charge will be applicable at Registration.

    Race Timetable: Registration for all categories will opens at 12pm

    Race Start time marked * may be subject to adjustment on the day to ensure fair and safe racing for all. Announcements will be made over the PA system notifying of any change and countdowns to Race Starts.

    Car Parking: There is ample free car parking within the various student residences car parks along Hermitage Road.

    Toilets: Toilets are available within Airthrey Golf Pavilion which is just a short 250m walk from the Duathlon event site (at the start of the “Footpath thro’ Golf Course”).

    First Aid: Provided by St Andrews First Aid.

    Chip Timing: Provided by what’s My Time.

    Catering: Mobile catering The Bunny Coffee Hutch will be located next to Registration and Transition. (Cash or card payments accepted)

    Refund Policy: No refunds will be offered if a competitor advises they cannot attend, however their place can either be deferred to the following year’s event, or we can re-allocate the position to someone else, please contact the race director to arrange.
