This event is a draft illegal event and shall be ran in accordance with the BTF Rule Book.

Championship awards will be in accordance with Triathlon Scotland’s Events Prize Schedule:
“Scottish Championship titles will now be awarded in 5-year age bands, in line with the British Championships and the rest of the Home Nations. This change will mean there will be 15 Age Group Championship titles per gender up for grabs at each open event, where previously there was a maximum of 8.”
“To allow for the increased cost associated with this, monetary prizes will no longer be awarded to overall podium winners. Currently, this prize fund is shared around a small number of competitors and can now benefit a greater number of our competing members, which we feel is more in line with the ethos of our Championships, and we don’t believe the prize money on offer was an incentive for the majority of people currently taking part. Overall race Champions will still be crowned and presented with the relevant Championship trophy. In the spirit of change we will also be introducing a new medal design for 2020 for all podium finishers.”

The 15 Age Group Championship title are:
    U20                        Under 20
    Senior 1                20-24
    Senior 2                25-29
