    The Stirling Aquathlon is an established classic on the Scottish Racing Calendar and this year will run in conjunction with the Scottish Student Triathlon (SST) Aquathlon Champs and the Stirling Aquabike.
    This Aquathlon is set within the grounds of one of Europe’s most picturesque University grounds, using the Scottish Swimming’s elite training pool. These training facilities are also used by World and Olympic level triathletes and home for Scotland’s elite triathletes.

    Car Parking: There is ample Car Parking, marshals will be present to direct you to the most convenient car-parks.

    Changing, Showers & Baggage Drop: We shall have private access to male and female changing facilities with showers located opposite the running track. A separate baggage drop facility will be available immediately next to this, baggage to be tagged with the owners race number and can only be collected by showing their race bib number.
    ***We are not permitted to use the swimming pool changing and locker facilities as these need to be kept free for public access.***

    First Aid: Provided by Prometheus Alphamed.

    Catering: Relocated temporary indoor University Sports Café, outdoor Coffee Van and numerous vending machines near changing facilities.

    Stirling Adult Aquathlon 2018 - Race Info

    Stirling Adult Aquathlon 2018.

    Adults will race over 750m in the Scottish Swimming Academy pool followed by a new 4 lap course making up a 4.5km run section. Anyone over the age of 17 is classed as an adult.

    Adult prize money is £50, £30, £20 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall in both male and female categories, however we shall also recognise 1st, 2nd and 3rd in both the male and female categories of the follow age groups:
    Junior, Senior, Veteran, Super Veteran & Vintage.

    Scottish Student Triathlon (SST) Aquathlon Championships 2018.

    The Scottish Student Triathlon (SST) Aquathlon Championships will race on the same distance/course as the Adult Aquathlon. It is a requirement to possess a valid student card, you will be required to enter your card number during the entry process and present the card at registration.

    SST will be awarding 1st, 2nd & 3rd place prizes to both males and females.

    Adults (17 and over) will race over 400m in the Scottish Swimming Academy pool followed by a single 16k bike loop, the same loop which is cycled on the 2018 Stirling Super Sprint Triathlon.

    Junior Aquathlon.

    The Junior Aquathlon is open to competitors aged from 8 to 16 (based on competitor’s age at end of this year) inclusive and is an established classic on the Scottish Calendar. When entering, please select the correct event for the competing age group.
    The junior course is totally traffic free, the run section is on grass playing fields ensuring competitor safety at all times. This is a similar course to the Junior Triathlon, which has run successfully at Stirling University over the last few years.
    Triathlon age groups are based on age at end of the year. For example, if your 11th birthday is coming up this November then you’ll race in the 11-12 age group, even though you’ll only be 10 on the day of the race. This ensures that you race against the same people all year through.
    Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for boys and girls in all age categories.
